Per the video I've linked in the post above. You then send that file back to the company and details of any mods you've done and they then send you back an appropriate map with which to flash your ECU. The UK company requires you to hook the unit to your bike and allow it to download the VIN number. Once they have them they load their own maps onto them. They're all using the same unit that is sourced from a company called Dimsport. The unit they sell is the exact same one as EXCU's/MOTO-Ds and I queried that. I'm waiting to hear back from a UK company. They insisted they have direct contact with them and all would be ok, but given they also tried to get me to pre-order the unit on the assurance the next batch would be in on Friday (and after that their website still shows only pre-order as an option) I've decided to give them a big miss. On that basis I told MOTO-D it looked like there was zero support and I'd end up with a $650 paper-weight if none of the included maps were suitable for my setup. LESS RISK to clone/copy ECUs Able to modify data or do chip tuning to achieve superior performance 3. It features: NO LIMITS of the car model and year + NO NEED disassemble ECUs Read and write Bosch ECUs (Infineon’s chips) incl. I emailed EXCU directly, being that MOTO-D sell their unit but got zero response. KTM Bench Boot is the latest ECU programming tool for ECU read and write via Boot mode or on bench. Where the issue arises is if you've done some sort of mods to the bike. I spoke with MOTO-D (via email) and at the most basic level the map that's pre-installed on the unit is for a totally stock bike where all that's been done is the AFR, particularly at the lower end (where the o2 sensors do their work), has been fixed (richened from 14-1 to 13-1, approx).
